investigation:
This investigation was conducted in June 2008. SPIRIT first went to dinner on a very smokey night. There was smoke in the air because Northern CA. was experiencing some very poor air quality due to an abundance of grass fires. I was wondering if that would affect our investigation at the cemetary.
When we got to the cemetary, it was just after sunset. There was a tractor in the vineyard next to the cemetary, which made recording for EVPs damn near impossible.
We trekked around the cemetary, checking out different graves. It was very large and there was a lot of ground to cover. The graves were relatively modern, some had cheery things on them like balloons and stuffed animals windchimes, plastic flowers and statues. One was the grave of a musician who had a whole rock garden and little statues and a guitar engraved on the side. It was the happiest grave I'd ever seen. We hung out there for a time, doing EVP sessions. I took some pictures. The team that evening consisted of eight of us: Me, Jackie, Satori Soul, Paul, Ang, Cinn, Sam and Chris. I suppose I was really forgetting how odd a hobby this is when I freely spoke in Italian to one couple who were buried there who had an Italian last name. I don't have a strong belief that ghosts hang out in grave yards because most of the time, they didn't die there. But in some cases it's possible that they come back looking for their bodies. Again, another theory.
I was rather annoyed at the tractor because that kind of din really makes audio work impossible. We headed out to our next location at around 10:30pm
The next location is an upper scale B&B. I had Easter Brunch there with my parents in 2007. I remember the dining room and the garden to be beautiful and cheery, so I thought it was ironic that I was back there at night, for a ghosthunt.
We had to be discreet because we didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Jackie and Chris were going to stay the night in a large, downstairs room right across from the dining room. This room was rumored to be the most haunted in the place.
The room had a huge comfy bed and a fireplace and chairs to sit on and a case with ceramic knick-knacks in it. One of the vases in the case was trembling, and I got excited for a second until I realized it was teetering on the edge of the shelf and the vibration of us walking was what was causing it to move.
Some of us sat on the bed, while the rest sat in chairs and we conducted an EVP session. During the session Jackie asked the potential spirit to move one of the crystals on the chandelier. Paul and some others said they thought it moved slightly. I didn't see it.
Later, some team members went outside to take pictures. I didn't hear, see, feel or otherwise sense anything odd about the place, other than the fact the hotel room was so close to the dining room. I guess it is like that because the place used to be a mansion and they wanted to keep the bedrooms the same.
We left Jackie and Chris to have the room. They didn't experience anything weird, but Jackie got several possible EVPs.

evidence:
I myself did not get any evidence. Jackie, Paul and Ang got some possibly interesting EVPs, I would like anyone to make their own conclusions regarding those. I was disappointed that I didn't get anything myself, but of course not every investigation can be fruitful for everyone.

personal conclusion: (Please note this is MY personal conclusion, and may not be the same opinion of the other members of the SPIRIT team) I just was not very impressed this time, although some of the EVPs are compelling, my main problem is that we had to whisper at some points and that makes me leery of any potential evidence that is in the form of a whisper. I can't say for sure whether either location is haunted, so I rate this whole investigation as inconclusive.
