Celebrity Dream Blog: 6/15/04: "Through the Fire"
Special Guest Stars: Frodo, Merry and Pippin

Ok here we go, another Lord of the Geeks dream...
This one is part of an on-going dream that I can't really remember too well. I know I was staying in a building something like a dormatory. I was in one room and it was pretty big and set up with decent furniature. There were a group of young adults like myself all taking. Then suddenly an alarm went off. Everyone began filing out of their rooms and into the halls. I felt scared all of the sudden, like I had a bad feeling. Frodo was in the hall with me and I told him I was scared and to take my hand. I said, "I hope this is just a drill..." but I had a feeling it wasn't.
We came to some stairs and we could smell smoke. To the left of the stairwell you could see down into the kitchen. There were ovens and flames were engulfing everything. We had to walk swiftly down the stairs before the flames came through.
We made it through that part ok, but then we had to go through another set of stairs that led outside of the building. These were almost completely engulfed in flames so it was nearly impossible to walk through it without getting burned. Frodo had me and himself wrapped in his cloak. I began to panic as we tried to rush through the smoke and flames. I quickly tried to think of something that might help us, like Frodo's invocation that he used to activate Earendil in Shelob's Lair. But I knew that wouldn't help in this case. I said to Frodo, "Do something!"
In the next scene we were out of the flames and walking onto the sidewalk. It was night time. There were lots of other people running around in a panic because of the fire.
Frodo had been injured, but I didn't know to what extent. He was wrapped in his cloak and I uncovered him and he was bleeding from gashes on his head. I had blood all over me too. It was clotted and looked like black tar. I was all upset as the ambulence took Frodo away.
I turned and walked up the sidewalk a little and Merry and Pippin were there, getting into a car. I told them that Frodo was hurt and on his way to the hospital and we all cried.

The next scene was a day or so later after the fire. I was in another dorm like setting, in a large room talking to a couple of people. The door of the room was to my left and I saw Merry walk in. I turned to him and was just about to ask how Frodo was (assuming that Merry had visited him in the hospital) when Frodo himself walked in behind Merry. He was absolutely gorgeous and I ran up to him and threw my arms around him and said something like "Oh, you're okay!" He didn't smile or say anything.
