The Background

I believe that Fan Fiction is a wonderful way to express one's self and practice your writing ability. I think one of the best things about the overwhelming world-wide popularity of the Motion Picture Trilogy is that it has inspired and encouraged people to read and write. This perhaps is the greatest gift that Tolkien has given us, besides the stories themselves, of course.
As a little girl I used to write stories quite frequently. I was also an avid reader (geek) and loved fantasy (outcast). But none-the-less I was a creative child and enjoyed the realm of the arts.
When I got a little older, my love of reading was ruined by being forced to read boring crap like novels by Ayn Rand (Remember that South Park episode The Chicken Fucker where Officer Barbrady learns to read, but then decides that reading sucks because he read an Ayn Rand novel? That is exactly what happened to me!) As for the writing aspect, I gave it up and began to spend more and more time just watching TV and movies.
Finally, when The Lord of the Rings films came into existance, something happened to me that hadn't happened in years. I was once again inspired to write fiction. My intense love for the characters (*cough* Frodo *cough*) inspired me to explore more of what I was capable of as a writer. Once again, I began to throw myself into the world of writing fiction, a practice I thought was long left behind and never to be thought of again.
I use the pen name neverforreal which is actually more of a reference to my love life, rather than the fan fiction, but I digresss.
Writing Styles and Genres

Humor
The Parodies of the Movies, written in free-style script format, are simply comedies, composed almost entirely of jokes based on a sexual nature. The characters lapse in and out of their Tolkien roles and the actors who play them. The idea of the characters at eachother's throats and using language that most likely did not exist in Middle Earth has been a humorous twist for most readers and writers of Lord of the Rings fan fiction.
I began out of order with The Two Towers, then wrote a much more elaborate parody on Return of the King, poking fun at nearly every line in each scene. I thought I might as well go back to the beginning and write a parody on Fellowship since I'd already done the other two. The jokes are repetitive, which is an understatement, but I find them funny none-the-less.
None of the parodies are meant to be offensive in any manner to anyone, anywhere at all, but if they do offend you, that's not my problem, more likely it is yours and you don't have to read them.

Romance/Erotica
On a slightly more serious note, I decided to write stories in the romance/erotica genre. Thus, I invented a passionate, sometimes twisted romance between Frodo (based on the portrayal of the character by Elijah Wood) and the character Mistress Deidre (all too obviously based on myself).
The idea stemmed from the Lord of the Rings Sex Slave Clique, an online club that I opened in October, 2003 as sort of a joke to go along with this site. The idea was to have "Mistress Deidre" keep a blog of sorts on her sexual escapades with her "slave" Frodo. The encounters that the Mistress shares with Frodo inevitably turn into feelings of deep passion and love for him, which begin to tear her apart inside (as love will do.)
From the fall of 2003 when I began writing the irreverant Mary-Sue Unspoken Passion: Memoirs of a Mistress to the summer of 2004 when I started the sequil, The Return of the Mistress , my writing had greatly improved. I came to realize the difference between satyrical free-form writing and the classic eloquent style in which Tolkien wrote his books. However, this is not to say that I abandoned the irreverance completely, nor did I skip the erotica. What I did do, was pay more attention to my writing style. Instead of the Blog format of Memoirs , The Return of the Mistress is written more like a novel, replacing cuss words and jokes with style and detail, making it stand on merit alone, rather than comical shock value.
Erotica is probably second only to general humor in popularity in Tolkien Fan Fiction. Due to the amount of male characters in Rings the male/male erotica, or "slash" as it's called, is rampant. Although heterosexual erotica is the main focus of the Mistress Tales , slash is also presant, particularly in the sequil.

Other Works
My other "works", so to speak, are mainly in the Comedy Genre, and don't really follow a set theme. They are basically random ideas I had that I made into pieces of fan fic, just because I felt like it. They can be comedic pieces, poems or just random thoughts that I found funny. Unlike the Parodies and Mistress Tales, they don't follow a set order and are mostly just a mishmash of my twisted mind.
